The pleasant tourist resort of Sevrier is nestled between the entrance to the Bauges Natural Park and the western shore of the great lake of Annecy. The old Roman road crossing Annecy towards Faverges has been replaced by a long bicycle path along the shore and its preserved reed beds. At the port of Sevrier, an important nautical base around the lake with 400 moorings, sailing activities are particularly favored as well as swimming from the beautiful shaded beach with entirely renovated equipment. Also very popular are the two museums, the bell museum (Paccard Museum) and the Savoyard traditions museum (Ecomuseum of Lake Annecy).
