Dynastar sees the day at the foot of Mont Blanc on a beautiful day of 1962 and wins its reputation with an original idea: the aluminium/wood sandwich structure called Omega. As a pioneer in the history of skiing, Dynastar was born in the Chamonix valley which served as a natural laboratory, but also a source of inspiration and playground for the manufacture of its skis. Dynastar is the contraction of Dynamic and Starflex which collaborated in the early 1960 s. Dynastar displays the image of a specialized company, resolutely oriented towards innovation. The company creates, tests and produces its skis at the foot of Mont Blanc since 1963. The company was bought by Rossignol skis in 1967. The brand signs the carving ski and the first line of skis designed for the female market. It claims the image of a unique, efficient ski and develops skiing as a way of life, through a dynamic and passionate way to live the mountain. Dynastar offers complete technical packages in partnership with the Look Look and Lange shoes, two brands from the Rossignol group. There is a wide range of skis and equipment for men, women and junior. The brand's specialty today is the customization of skis, but also expertise in competition equipment and in the fields of freeride, freestyle and women's skiing.
