This former 13th-century building usually houses an exhibition on alpine refuges, as well as a contemporary art program with artist residencies and exhibitions. Games and booklets are available at reception to help families discover the exhibition in a fun way. Outside these periods, group and school visits are available on request. Full admission is 5 euros, reduced admission is 3.5 euros, and admission is free for children under 5. To get to the Maison-forte de Hautetour, we recommend parking at the 2km3 parking lot in the town center and walking for about 5 minutes up the Forclaz hill opposite the tourist office.
