Going to AnnecyJust look at a map to understand the partial isolation of Annecy. Located on the edge of a lake, the city is located in the east as well as in the west, in the mountains that only leave a small road axis to the Aravis (to the east) and to Frangy (to the west). However, thanks to the motorway network, Annecy is located on an important north-south axis linking Geneva to Chambéry. To go to Annecy, for the European tourist, therefore does not present any great difficulties… If not that of confronting a few traffic jams during holidays or to make a few additional steps to join the large nearby cities (Geneva 40 km, Chambéry 50 km, Lyon 150 km) and their airport infrastructures.
