In his workshop in Morzine, Gérard Menu perpetuates an ancestral know-how which he claims to follow from the raw material to the final glazed and decorated object. Faithful to the traditional forms of the region and to the clay, he turns by hand: dishes, pots, oil dishes, bowls, plates... The patterns are respected in the purest Savoyard tradition: green and brown lines on a yellow ochre background, alternating brown and dark ochre dots. The pattern drawn can be an edelweiss or cows, made freehand. Each piece is unique !
