A typical village in an unspoilt Aravis valley dominated by Mount Charvin (2,409 m) and traversed by the Fier torrent. On the right bank (adret) of the torrent, mountain chalets and farmhouses wind their way down to the valley floor. From the village center, you can escape to the Col de la Croix-Fry, home to a family-friendly winter sports resort (Alpine and Nordic). Its ski area is linked to that of La Clusaz. Relaxation and conviviality in a natural setting. Manigod is the childhood village of chef Marc Veyrat, who drew his gastronomic inspiration from the wild plants of the mountain pastures and forests.
