Magland, crossed by the GR96, offers walkers an educational trail and many typical stone and wood farmhouses. This beautiful commune in the valley looking towards the Grand Massif is especially known for its sausage. The Magland sausage, which can be found in the best Savoyard restaurants in the region, is made in an artisanal way according to an ancestral method of preservation by smoking beech wood and softwood sawdust in a high chimney. This special treatment gives it unique gustatory qualities. It should be noted that there are also excellent snails in Magland.
