In a quiet and wild setting, Drouzin-le-Mont is a "First Snow" resort located at the Col du Corbier at 1 230 m altitude, on Biot commune, between the Valley of Aulps and the Valley of Abundance.Biot village, head of canton, is located 4 km upstream at 820 m above sea level in Aulps valley. The village was one of the very first built on the natural passage of the traders who tagged the Valley of Abundance by the Col du Corbier. Remains of this activity, Biot kept its hall in the centre of the village, recalling its merchant past when fairs and markets attracted the entire population of the Valley. After a year of stopping the activity of the ski lifts (winter 2012/2013) due to the withdrawal of the operator, the municipality of Biot undertook the reopening of the ski Resort of Drouzin Le Mont and the upgrading projects at the Corbier Pass for the winter of 2013/2014.The station is ideal for families with very young children for the first discoveries of snow and slides by toboggan or ski. A space dedicated to families is newly established: 3 ski slopes, 2 ski lifts and a neige that will work during school holidays. Many events for small and large will take place at the same time.Lovers of large spaces and unspoilt nature will enjoy discovering the snowy mountain on snowshoe trails and a circuit for sled rides.
