A restaurant pub for decent meals and drinks! Located at the end of the village, this Grolle offers an ideal location inn summer with a terrace overlooking a refreshing river. Pancakes and galettes after a day of ski, and nice wine list.
One stops at the pub for a good aperitif after the helf-day natural activities, then you dine in a charming setting with light wood panelling, like the most elegant “mountain” type. For a substantial meal we appreciate the quality ingredients. A good Reblochon farm (green sticker) used to prepare generous and delicious salad-meals, are of great quality or a soup, omelette savoyard, or a smoked salmon to start with. it connects with cheese specialities or more traditional dishes: gratin of scallops and mussels with tagliatelle, calf's head, beef rib with bone marrow for two, the chef's tartare etc. The service is efficient and cheerful and especially the atmosphere is friendly. One succumbs to the ritual of the Savoyard grolle - wood carved, round shape, with lid and spout to pour brandy of Aravis. An address appreciated by regular customers.
