With a total of 20 trails, including 3 green and 4 blue runs, as well as numerous variants, there's something for everyone. Châtel's DH runs are distinguished by their extreme technicality.

Two sites are available for free climbing: the walls of Plaine Dranse, comprising 23 routes of 5 to 10 meters, and the abseils of the L'Essert waterfall, offering a descent on the left bank with 9 abseils of 30 meters. Detailed guides are available from the tourist office. Under the guidance of qualified instructor Jean-Yves Fredriksen, all climbers are supervised and initiated. Initiation from age 8.

The Châtel ski area itself offers 41 lifts opening onto 45 pistes located between 1200 and 2200m. Two snowparks will delight freestyle enthusiasts. The free shuttles, for all and even in the evening, allow easy access to the slopes. 60 km of Nordic slopes linked with the resorts of La Chapelle and Abondance, sledging, ski joëring and pedestrian-snowshoe circuits including two educational trails.
