The O Form is a 4 000 m ² space with indoor and outdoor pools with mineral and vegetable beaches, a spa area with spa, sauna and steam bath and fitness area. In summer, a good alternative to the region's lakes and rivers and to winter biking activities, as well as an additional source of relaxation. In the Pré-la-Joux area of the Portes du Soleil, you'll find a mountain paradise dedicated to downhill mountain bike enthusiasts. Open all summer long, this area offers access to 6 exceptional zones, 5 of which are accessible via the Blues & Rock green trail. With a total of 20 trails, including 3 green and 4 blue runs, as well as numerous variants, there's something for everyone. Châtel's DH runs are distinguished by their extreme technicality.

For climbing enthusiasts or the simply curious, Châtel offers some remarkable routes! Two sites are available for free climbing: the walls of Plaine Dranse, comprising 23 routes of 5 to 10 meters, and the abseils of the L'Essert waterfall, offering a descent on the left bank with 9 abseils of 30 meters. Detailed guides are available from the tourist office. Under the guidance of qualified instructor Jean-Yves Fredriksen, all climbers are supervised and initiated. Initiation from age 8.

As part of the Portes du Soleil area, Châtel's connection to the Swiss ski area is fairly easy. The Châtel ski area itself offers 41 lifts opening onto 45 pistes located between 1200 and 2200m. Two snowparks will delight freestyle enthusiasts. The free shuttles, for all and even in the evening, allow easy access to the slopes. 60 km of Nordic slopes linked with the resorts of La Chapelle and Abondance, sledging, ski joëring and pedestrian-snowshoe circuits including two educational trails.

In the middle of the mountain, the resort of Châtel has many assets to make the most of its days, from the discovery of the village and its pastoral activity to the multiple sports activities. By car, on foot or by mountain bike, all means are good to visit the mountain pastures and cross-border villages. Mountain biking is king with an impressive number of routes and access to the Portes du Soleil domain. Tennis, swimming pool, horse riding, paragliding, climbing, white water sports, not forgetting the compact 6-hole golf course (and 18-hole mini-golf course) at the Loy leisure centre.
