Boëge (1,800 inhabitants) is located in the Vallée Verte, a beautiful alpine valley watered by the Menoge torrent, which also crosses the town. At the crossroads of several roads allowing a beautiful stroll in the region, Boëge knows a tourist activity essentially of passage, with however the attraction which brings its traditional activities, such as the honey factory, the manufacture of cheeses or the market of Tuesday. At the northern exit of Boëge, the D40 allows you to reach the Col de Cou (alt. 1,117 m), which marks the end of the Vallée Verte and the beginning of some beautiful curves before the descent towards Thonon.
