The Cave coopérative de Tain is a benchmark for pleasure and oenology. Established since 1933, at the foot of the famous Hermitage hill, the Cave de Tain, leading producer of the northern crus (Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Saint-Péray), has been awarded the Vignobles et Découvertes and Vignerons engagés labels. Its wines, which respect terroirs and biodiversity, are recognized the world over for their excellence. On-site advice and tasting. A second Cave de Tain boutique has opened opposite La Cité du Chocolat.

Owner's Message
The Cave de Tain was founded in 1933 by Louis Gambert de Loche.
Successive generations have made the company grow and today, thanks to the know-how of its winemakers, it is the main producer of northern wines in the Hermitage, Crozes Hermitage, Saint Joseph, Cornas and Saint Péray appellations.
The Cave de Tain also owns estates in Crozes Hermitage, Cornas, Saint Péray, and especially 21 hectares in the prestigious Hermitage appellation, which it took over from its founder.
