Located on the hillside, on an ancient feudal mound, the village of Moras-en-Valloire, with its 650 inhabitants, dominates the Valloire. It boasts beautiful medieval remains, including parts of the ramparts and, among the most beautiful residences, the governor's house, built in 1592, and the Quarrée house, which today houses the town hall. The latter contains a staircase with Louis XIV balusters that is worth a look. You can also discover these houses typical of the traditional architecture of the Nord-Dauphiné made of adobe (raw earth) and rolled pebbles. From the top of the hill, there is a beautiful panorama of the valley and its orchards.
