This magnificent village has given its name to a grape variety used in wines from the northern Côtes du Rhône and the Swiss Valais. Today, Marsanne lies at the foot of the 12th-century church of Saint-Félix. In the square, you'll find two beautiful buildings with bell towers, arched frames and mullioned windows... A visit to the old hilltop village, renovated in the 1960s, is a real treat, and you'll learn that Marsanne is the birthplace of President Émile Loubet. On the road to Mirmande, a chapel near a reputedly miraculous spring is the site of a pilgrimage on September 8. Numerous hikes to the heights.
