Nestled between forests of variegated hardwoods and cornfields, crossed by the Ill river and its shady banks, this small village is charming and full of treasures. We stop here for its beautiful Alsatian houses and its magnificent 15th century castle surrounded by a moat. Unfortunately, the castle is privately owned and cannot be visited. In addition, there is a Christmas trail organized every other year, remarkable and noticed, not only for its market, but especially for the numerous activities it offers from the end of November to the beginning of December. Here is a detour to make, if you are in the area during the Christmas season.
