You come across Bellegarde-en-Diois and its hamlet of Montlahuc (65 inhabitants), an authentic village composed of scattered hamlets, at an altitude of 850 m, protected by the proximity of the Col de Prémol. From here start several hikes on marked circuits you can enjoy a nature rich in flora and fauna preserved. Bellegarde is known for its remarkable views. The mountain of the Ruelles overlooks the altiport of La Chau and overlooks the Oule Valley. To get a global overview of the village and its church built in 1890 (to visit), we go back to the "old village" by the ruins of the buttresses of the old castle. From Montlahuc, Serre la Chaud offers an exceptional panorama where you can discover Mont Ventoux and even the peaks of the Mont Blanc massif on a clear day. In this hamlet, you can admire the well-preserved little chapel. Bellegarde is a living commune with its various agricultural, artisanal, tourist and commercial activities.
