Beauregard lies at the mouth of a cluse. Until the 1960s, the village benefited from silica and kaolin mining in the Musan mountains. Today, farming is the main activity in this commune of 850 inhabitants, with more than a dozen cattle and goat farms, and transhumance to the Vercors plateau in summer. From the cemetery, there are panoramic views of the village, the cluse and the kaolin quarry. Do: the Monts du Matin hiking loop: general signposting at Beauregard. Sightseeing: Meymans church on the Voies du Sacré trail.
