Classified as a village of character, Vinezac is located 12 km south of Aubenas, in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. It is good to walk along the streets to discover the beautiful stone houses tinted with white and orange ochre. Of the medieval past, only a few sections of the walls remain, a superb Romanesque church and the remains of three castles. The Romanesque church dates from the 12th century, its central nave is listed as a historical monument. You can also see about twenty sculpted capitals, some decorated with acanthus leaves, others with human faces or bestial motifs (donkeys and lions) for those of the choir
