Here is a pretty little county town, in the heart of the Beaume valley, this Cevennes torrent which stretches over 40 km in length, from Loubaresse where it has its source to Ruoms where it flows into the Ardèche. By following this river, you will discover all the characteristic landscapes of the South Ardèche: from the typical schist country of the Cévennes with its roofs of lauzes and its chestnut trees (from Valgorge to Joyeuse), to the garrigue of the limestone country. You can admire this valley from the orientation table of the Meyrand pass in Loubaresse. This region, one of the least populated in the Ardèche, is a place of discovery and ever-changing pleasures
