5 km from Aubenas, Ucel is separated into two villages by the steep valley of the Sandron. There is the Pont d'Ucel, at the gates of Aubenas, built on the banks of the river. It was the district where the silk industry developed. A dozen hamlets of character can be discovered along the paths along the Ardèche or winding along the wooded hills.
