Bordering the Haut-Rhin department, the small wine-growing town of Orschwiller is dominated by the majestic Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg. Its heritage bears witness to a rich past: 15th-century houses, a former tithe yard, Saint-Maurice church (1781). This baroque pink sandstone edifice was restored a few years ago, following a devastating fire in 1985. It houses a beautiful Stiehr-Mockers organ. Discover the Château de l'Oedenbourg (12th-13th centuries), nicknamed Petit-Koenigsbourg: situated on the heights of the village, 300 meters from Haut-Koenigsbourg, it features a polygonal enclosure, a shield wall and ogival windows.
