Saint-Bonnet-de-Rochefort is a village with 700 inhabitants. Among the buildings or notorious buildings on the territory of this small town, we can mention the castle of Rochefort, a castle built in the 12th century and modified or restored many times (15th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries), the castle of Ruilliers, a beautiful building of the 15th century (modified in the 18th century) which unfortunately can not be visited, and the viaduct of Rouzat, a magnificent work built by the Eiffel firm in 1869. It is located 2.4 km south of the village, via the D37 that it overlooks while spanning the Sioule. Its total length is 180 meters.
