The village in its cliffs is classified as one of the Villages of Character of the Ardèche. The large square of Sablas borders the river, offering an enchanting site with the shade of hundred-year-old plane trees. A submersible bridge links the commune of Labeaume to the village of Auriolles, opposite. See also the Notre-Dame-de-la-Délivrance chapel in Chapias, with its panorama of some twenty bell towers, and the "priest's rock" where two abbots took refuge during the Revolution. A few mulberry trees and old presses bear witness to the past activity of the silkworm. The village is also home to a local bistro, the Bec Figue, where it is pleasant to sit down.
