A jewel in the Pays de Beaume Drobie. This village of less than a hundred inhabitants groups its old stone houses under their Roman tiles around a church with a remarkable bell tower with several bells aligned under their arch. Walking through the narrow streets of Faugères, one can appreciate the typical architecture with calades, alleys, sandstone and schist houses with alternating coloured walls as well as numerous terraces and the remains of the castle-priory. The church of Saint-Théobald, in fact placed under the name of Saint-Théofrède, depended on the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Chaffre. Many unknown saints!
