The Ardéchois is a trail in medium mountains, on steep paths and trails of the Ardèche plateau.

The course

route 98 km: you take the Ardéchois trail until the 48th km the ruins of rochebloine on the commune of Nozières.a panoramic view will plunge you in the valley of the Doux to join the hamlet of Lafarre 44 inhabitants, and skirt the river of the Doux to go up to the village of Rochepaule, and the unusual crossing of its church by the interior which will mark the spirits to reach the 3rd provisioning. From the site of the Peyrhomme rock, you will go down to the 3rd valley "L'Aigueneyre" to go up on the Ardèche plateau and go around the Devesset lake, a picturesque site in a green setting. The village of Saint Jeure d'Andaure will welcome you for a last watering hole, and the descent to the heart of the medieval village of Desaignes

route 57Km : 57km, only by paths and long-distance hiking trails in medium mountains, will make you discover the Ardèche plateau with its typical landscapes, the authenticity of its steep hamlets and its many isolated farms and will give you the measure of the life that could have been in the last century. A large loop along the Roman road will take you to the remains of the Château de Rochebonne in an idyllic setting, overlooking the Eyrieux valley like a bird of prey in Saint Martin de Valamas. A magnificent view of the mythical Mont Gerbier de Jonc and the Mezenc, king of the Cevennes. The passage at the foot of the waterfall will remain a highlight of the route with the return to the citadel (passage near the wind turbines), culminating at 1,200 metres for a final in the heart of the medieval village of Desaignes. A new loop will take you to the discovery of the castle of Bel Air, the remains of the Xiie century in Rochebloine on the commune of Nozières, a panoramic view of the valley of the doux, the Vercors chain, the peaks of the Alps and the Mont Blanc to finish in the heart of the medieval village of Desaignes.

20 km course: 20 km in self-sufficiency (940 m elevation gain). The Roman Way (in self-sufficiency) supply 10 km (the citadel), departure place of the Town Hall (arrival at the same place).

10 km course: women only (Le chemin des vignes). Marked, shady paths through the surrounding countryside and forest will allow you to discover an exceptional panorama along an original route in the middle Ardèche mountains overlooking the medieval village of Desaignes
