Inn with terrace in Chassiers offering creative Provencal cuisine, and a house specialty: duck breast.

La Clède? It's the old chestnut dryer. We are here in the deep Ardèche. In the heart of the village, you can enjoy creative Provencal cuisine in a cosy room or on the small terrace. In the summer: aubergine caviar with four spices, cheesecake with fresh Ardèche goat's cheese, lemon stuffed with trout rillettes or round anchovies marinated in lemon and pistou, not forgetting the 7 o'clock lamb confit. In winter: grilled duck breast with redcurrants, honey and port, or sliced calf's head, one of the house specialities.

Me woman me we love the atmosphere of this restore (take the table by the fireplace in winter if possible). It is our restaurant getaway. Good à la carte are not often renewed but the two dishes are very well prepared and delicious. The service is correct. it must be said that we never went when the restaurant was full...
Good I often attend the restaurants and that here at this quality is rare in Ardèche. Around £35 per person with wine and aperitif but it is the same price now everywhere

Accueil froid, service lent. Des reproches ont été fait au moment de l'encaissement, sans doute n'avions nous pas assez consommé? Quoiqu'il en soit, il nous a été très fortement suggéré de verser de l'argent en plus du repas et du menu car nous sommes partis du restaurant apparemment trop tard ( 22h30) et qu'il fallait un supplément! Non annoncé dans les tarifs!
Bref, une belle arnaque!
A éviter fortement sous peine d'indigestions.
