On the slopes of Mount Mezenc, at an altitude of 1,150 m, Borée is an endearing village of barely 170 inhabitants. Borée has its own potato, a variety with purple skin and flesh and a refined taste flirting with the chestnut. The inhabitants of this resisting country innovate to attract a soft tourism: theme tours, House of the wind, hiking with donkeys, local products (fin gras du Mézenc and picodons)... From here, a beautiful hike around the Pialoux rock, between forests and mountain pastures, with an unobstructed view of the valley and the surrounding hills. In the village church, you can discover an amazing black Virgin.
