In the heart of the deserted limestone plateau of Les Gras, this village is surrounded by fragrant garrigues. The occupation of the site is very old. Its cave decorated with a lion's head and cave paintings of Auroch, Megaceros and punctuation, has been dated to 23,000 years. The site is also home to many dolmens and one of the few menhirs in the Ardèche, which attest to an occupation since the Neolithic period. There are also medieval streets and an 18th century church. Bidon houses a museum and the house of the nature reserve of the Ardèche gorges at the edge of a wild wood and a hike overlooking the Ardèche gorges
