Everyone knows the little town of Vonnas, the gourmet capital of Bresse, crossed by numerous rivers on the natural border of the Dombes. Vonnas, a charming rural town with the Villes et Villages fleuris (Towns and Villages in bloom) label and winner of the Prix de la Diversité végétale (Plant Diversity Prize), blends naturally into the Bresse bocage. But if Vonnas is famous throughout the world, it is first of all because the town is almost entirely devoted to the famous restaurants of Georges Blanc - indeed we speak of "Village Blanc" - which has a little world of its own for the greatest pleasure of gourmets. Market every Thursday morning from 8am to 12pm.
