Guest house with Provencal charm in Vaugines in the Luberon, with a sublime view from the terrace.
This is our favorite place in Vaugines. A lot of charm, a sublime view from the terrace in the sky on the roofs of the village, the Sainte-Victoire, the Luberon and the warm welcome of the mistress of the place are the assets of this guest house in Provence opened in 2021. The Faugas and Tournesols suites each have their own entrance. Everything is well thought out: bathrooms, kitchenette in one, equipped dining area in the other, large terrace for the Faugas. The vaulted living room can be shared to watch TV or to curl up by the fire as a couple or as a family.

Un très joli établissement, authentique, au calme perché au cœur d’un charmant village. La qualité de l’accueil et les raffinements portés sur tout les détails en font un lieu incontournable pour séjourner dans cette belle région. Une terrasse panoramique nous permet d’admirer le paysage et une autre de se prélasser en toute intimité.

Our two night stopover Aux Deux Fontaines was thoroughly enjoyable. Corinne is a truly marvellous host. Her attention to detail makes it a pleasure to stay at the property. Fresh flowers in the room, large bathroom towels, fantastic breakfasts. We stayed in the ground floor Sunflower Suite which has a spacious terrace with table and chairs for dining 'en plein air' as well as comfortable sunbeds. Vaugines' tiny village square with its fountain is just a minute's walk away. Aux Deux Fontaines is a superb base for hikers. A circular walk to the nearby village of Cucuron (where Russell Crowe starred in the feel-good movie 'A Good Year') takes just one hour. For those who like more of a challenge, the Luberon's highest point - Le Mourre Negre - is within easy reach by car. Even the walking book 'Holiday Hikes in Provence' has a sunflower yellow cover! All in all, a great stay. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Aux Deux Fontaines in late July. Corinne greeted us with genuine warmth and charm and welcomed us into her beautiful home, with homemade cake and fresh fruit. We stayed in the Faugas Suite which was beautifully styled and very spacious, with lovely views from both windows.
Breakfast on the roof terrace was just idyllic, with generous offerings and superb hospitality. Vaugines is a sweet, quiet little town, with birdsong, church bells and village sounds to complement the visual beauty.
Corinne recommended and reserved a table for dinner for us at La Petit Maison de Cccuron - with Michelin star chef, Eric. An absolutely amazing dinner - don't miss this!
She also offered lots of suggestions of towns to visit and was really lovely and engaging to chat to.
We would very happily return and wholeheartedly recommend Vaugines and Corinne's hospitality.
