You're in one of the three villages that produce great Côtes-du-Rhône wines. It's best to start your visit at the top of the village, with the church and its elegant Provençal bell tower atop a 12th-century watchtower. It is surrounded by the surrounding wall of the Vassadel castle. This family ruled the village for almost 300 years. Head back down the narrow streets, which all lead to the Cours Stassart, the liveliest part of the village, especially on July 14 during the wine festival. Professionals, amateurs and tourists all enjoy a good meal together.
