In the middle of a universe marked by the presence of vineyards, Sannes, almost invisible, is one of the smallest villages of the Luberon (only 177 inhabitants), close to the summit le Mourre Nègre, the view on the mountain is magnificent. The major attraction of the village is not so much the historical discovery of the village, which has a small cultural heritage (the Romanesque chapel Saint-Pierre-des-Vignes, the castle of Sannes and its chapel (XVIIth), the windmill and the oratory Sainte-Anne), but is linked to its location in the middle of vineyards and cherry fields, near the Etang de la Bonde. Excellent starting point for hikes.
