It's a big town leaning against a rock. With its Romanesque chapel, its windmill from the 17th-18th centuries, its 11th century castle, a dam (1763) and its Ayguier gate which has retained part of its defence system. The whole forms a beautiful ensemble in a soothing atmosphere and incomparable light. Through the alleys, one discovers houses with doors decorated with caryatids and carved window frames. The church of Saint-Etienne, rebuilt in 1860, houses a pietà dating from the 14th and 15th centuries. In the surrounding area, the numerous marked trails (more than 250 km) on the old transhumance paths will delight hikers.
