The village is just beyond Apt, and you can feel the mountains beginning to change the landscape. Here, it's quite exceptional with the "Provencal Colorado" of a thousand ochre colors. You'll find yourself on a site that owes its beauty to the work of four generations of ochre growers and farmers. Making the most of natural resources - minerals, fertile soils and water - these men have created a balance between market gardens in the valleys and ochre works in the hills. Now that mining has ceased, this balance is fragile. Discover the Saint-Julien priory, the 18th-century oil mill and the charcoal-makers' trail.
