This small village of less than 500 inhabitants has existed since the 8th century when the Benedictines settled here. It will pass the centuries with serenity. Then it deserves a small detour because it has kept its monuments. The large gate supports the campanile and its clock, its ramparts, its small caladées alleys carefully renovated lead you towards the medieval castle where Molière stayed. The parish church of Notre-Dame-de-Liesse dates from the 17th century and the 17th century fountain of the Four Seasons is superb and listed. You will also see the castle of Bacchus (18th century) with a beautiful park where the statue of Bacchus is enthroned.
