Discreet wildlife observation at the EDF dam in Mallemort.

The Parc naturel régional du Luberon has set up a large wooden hut near the Mallemort EDF dam, on the bank of the Durance, a site ideal for discreet wildlife observation with a pair of binoculars and a little patience. Explanatory signs help you to recognize them: teal, great crested grebe, little egret, coot and moorhen, preferably in the morning. In the evening, it's mainly the beavers that come out. The short yellow-marked hike follows the dike.
