On the wine route at the foot of Mont Ventoux, stop off to discover the wines of the Canteperdrix winery. These are wines of acclaimed generosity that regularly win awards in official competitions. They are the fruit of the demanding work of winemakers who make the most of an exceptional terroir and climate. Let yourself be seduced by the Canteperdrix range in red, white and rosé, or be transported by the voluptuousness of the cuvée Gentilice rouge, Prestige Canteperdrix, Seigneur du Carri and many other cuvées to suit every occasion.

Frédéric and Lucile Delay are the third generation to run this beautiful 28-hectare estate. Manual harvesting, traditional methods with respect for the lunar cycles, natural ageing... We taste four AOC Côtes-du-Ventoux reds: Secret de Vincent, a cuvée made from plots of Syrah aged in oak barrels for one year; Les Vignes Rousses (2010), made from Carignan and aged in casks; Vieilles vignes, (vines over 50 years old). The estate also produces AOC Côtes-du-Ventoux white and a "Vin de Pays Portes de Méditerranée"

Stop off at Domaine Pied Faucon and its Le Trésor des oliviers oil mill. Here, 9,000 olive trees flourish on a 25-hectare estate, certified High Environmental Value, where vines and almond trees also grow. These artisan millers work with respect for the know-how inherited over several generations. They are also winegrowers, producing wines in the Ventoux appellation, as well as Cru Beaumes-de-Venise and Muscat Beaumes-de-Venise.

Domaine Le Croix des Pins covers 33 hectares and has been producing three certified organic appellations since 1998. If you're in this part of the Vaucluse, take the opportunity to visit their boutique-caveau, where tastings are free. An on-site restaurant - A Ventoux - serves market-fresh cuisine in harmony with the estate's wines. Two 6-person gîtes, each set in the heart of the beautiful ^16th-century bastide.
