This perched village offers a breathtaking view of the Vaucluse mountains up to the Ventoux. Its territory is vast between the plain and the Luberon, but it is a very small village where you can walk along the small cobblestones and steep streets. It has kept the remains of its ramparts as well as the clock tower of the 17th century belfry. Its church, also from the 17th century, has a baroque façade. Beautiful Provençal architecture houses line the calades, on squares with norias and wells. Maubec is an important wine center, producing appellation contrôlée wines, brandies and grape seed oils.
