Between Carpentras and Malaucène, this village perched on its mountain foothills stands out in the landscape between the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Ventoux and the Comtat Venaissin plain. The narrow streets with their many fountains make this a charming village. The old houses have been tastefully renovated, not forgetting the Romanesque church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, topped by its campanile. The walks through the vineyards are truly enchanting. They offer some of the finest views in the département. The origins of the château date back to the 11th century, when the village served as a tollbooth between Dauphiné and Provence. Don't miss Sainte-Madeleine Abbey.
