Certainly the most picturesque route to discover the Dentelles. Only a few houses make up the village, it has barely 110 inhabitants. It is not for all that a deserted village because Lafare is the starting point of many hikes for the Dentelles de Montmirail. To do so, take a small road to the north which first goes down into the ravine, then goes up towards the dentelles. On the left a footpath leads in 5 minutes to an unexpected waterfall in this arid landscape in the middle of the gorges. Lafare has the particularity of having a salty river (La Salette). Nice view from the very small chapel of Saint-Christophe.
