Pretty hilltop village, dominated by the spire of its church, arriving by the small road that leaves from the centre of Bedoin. Formerly fortified, it has perpetuated since the end of the 19th century the memory of its lord and hero, Louis Balbe-Berton de Crillon. The village is peaceful and very popular with tourists who discover its narrow cobbled streets, subtets, flying buttresses and stone lacework. Of the 16th century ramparts, unfortunately only the Guérin gate, restored in the 17th century, remains. We visit the chapel Notre-Dame-des-Accès built in 1721, as well as the Romanesque church Saint-Romain which houses a monument to the memory of Crillon le Brave (Cenotaph).
