Chapel built in 1861 on the ruins of an old chapel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Built in 1861 on the ruins of an old chapel, on the exact spot where Blessed Peter had the vision of Christ on the cross during a walk. The scene takes place in 1387. The 18 year old young man is taken by tuberculosis and buried in the cemetery of the poor in Avignon. This chapel can be discovered on the occasion of the celebrations of Peter of Luxembourg in July, a novena and a torchlight procession are organized there every year.
