Here more than 80% of the population lives from the vine: more than half of its surface area is occupied by vines! Close to "L'Enclave des Papes" and the Drôme, the village offers two aspects: the western part with an active life and its merchants, and to the east, the old village steeped in history which dominates the vineyards, the Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail. Here, the view over the whole plain is sumptuous. In turn property of the Order of the Temple, then the property of Pope John XXIII from 1317, the village keeps some vestiges: the keep and the ramparts of the XIIth century, but also three gates, three towers and four chapels.
