Petit Futé's opinion on CENTRALE HYDROELECTRIQUE DE BOLLENE

A titanic project carried out by the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône in the 1950s. By diverting the Rhône over 28 km between Donzère and Mondragon and by building the highest lock in the world and the most productive hydroelectric power station in Europe, CNR advanced France in the field of renewable energy while facilitating navigation on the river. A fascinating, educational and interactive guided tour of an impressive site.

Information on CENTRALE HYDROELECTRIQUE DE BOLLENE

Visit for individuals from April 1st to October 31st from 10 am to 6 pm. Reservation required on the site. For groups, from mid-February to mid-December. Adults: 10 €. Groups of 15 people or more: 8 €. Family rates. Free for schoolchildren and group leaders.
