Bédoin is a village at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Here and there, in the narrow streets, you'll discover traces of its history, such as the fountains that once played an essential role in daily life, the ramparts and the castle. Many AOC wine, fruit and asparagus producers are based here. It's also a crossroads for lovers of one of the Mont Ventoux routes. It's the most difficult of the routes, with bicycles, motorcycles and, of course, cars: one traffic circle bears the name of Maurice Trintignant. A state-owned forest, one of the largest in France and a Biosphere Reserve, extends over 6,300 ha.
