The distillery has been based on Barthelasse Island, in the heart of the orchards, since 1957. Renowned for its Williams pear eau-de-vie, the company perpetuates the tradition of trapped pears, hanging thousands of carafes in the pear trees between mid-May and mid-July every year. Since 2011, Emmanuel and Béatrice have been at the helm of Manguin; while continuing to enhance the house's expertise, they have created new spirits: Caraxès - a blend of pear eau-de-vie and old Caribbean rums - Bourbon Barrel, Oli Vodka and Pastis d'Avignon.

Avignon offers wine and spirits lovers a must-visit store: La Cave de Vincent. Located in the Auchan Mistral 7 shopping center, this store offers a vast selection of champagnes, wines and spirits. Whether you want to shop in-store, pick up your orders or have them delivered, La Cave de Vincent will meet your needs.

For neophytes and wine lovers, this cellar offers an innovative concept. Using a card credited with the amount of your choice, you can taste 32 wines and spirits (Côtes-du-Rhône, Provence, Languedoc, Roussillon, Bordeaux and Burgundy) thanks to the Enomatic nitrogen service and preservation system. Ideal for discovering aromas and choosing the right bottle. There's also a selection of great houses, pastis and a wide range of Japanese whisky. A new boutique next door is devoted exclusively to spirits.

Set up in an artillery room at the back of the Popes' palace, it is a place to be discovered as it represents a quality showcase for the wines of the Côtes-du-Rhône. Each year, the winegrowers are invited to send a sample of their wines to be blind tasted by a committee of professionals (sommeliers, oenologists) and amateurs (restaurant owners, journalists...). The best rated wines will be presented at the Bouteillerie for one year and can be tasted.

The Côtes du Rhône and Rhône Valley wine industry is represented by this professional body. Inter Rhône brings together all the promotional, economic and technical aspects of Rhone Valley wines. Wine tourism is one of the strategic challenges of the interprofession with the quality charter "Rendez-vous Terroirs" which has 520 tasting cellars. Inter Rhône is recognised as a reference in the field of oenotourism.
