Tired of taking your car every morning to go to work and to blame for the effects of pollution generated by the mass of gear trapped in slowdowns? At the heart of an era that cares about the preservation of the environment, so much more environmentally friendly means of transport. Cycling, of course, but why not the rollers? Founded in the fall of 2008 following Avignon on Roller, the Association Avignon Roller Skating champions for these green movements and offers the learning of this discipline. So all week, the "skating", "speed" and "hockey" sections are found at the Philippe Girard Gymnasium in order to share good moments of conviviality and fine tuning their techniques (slalom, braking, straight-line skating…). In addition to Friday hikes in Avignon intra-muros and extra, the association organizes outings on weekends (Frigolet, Toulourenc, Albion plateau…). The most confirmed ones also have the opportunity to participate in competitions such as the French-dipole-Cup races or the Hours of Mans Roller.
