ASKR (Association Shotokan Karate-Do Regional) Karaté dispatche on three avignonnaises halls: West (Mérindol municipal hall, near the Bridge of Europe), Centre (school group J.B. de la Salle) and East (Maison des Associations, Pont-des-Deux-Eaux, at the end of Madness avenue). But the association also offers courses in nearby cities such as Morières, Montfavet, Caumont-sur-Durance, Saint-Saturnin, Rochefort-du-Gard or Sarrians. Formed by Kasé, a great karate master who stayed for 40 years in France, Chief Professor Charly Balthazar, 5 th Dan and statesman, is committed to transmitting his knowledge to novice fighters as confirmed. With the support of professors he himself has experienced, Charly explains with professionalism and thoroughness the precise techniques of this martial art and the essential values of respect and perseverance that characterize discipline. No age limit is set for practice. In addition to karate learning, ASKR proposes to teach self defense and the karate body, combining fitness and mastering martial art movements (excellent for cardio!). Free initiation for all three disciplines.
