Restaurant offering a refined and copious cuisine.

A true Avignon institution, La Fourchette is a sure bet. Tourists and locals alike are always happy to sit down. The welcome and service are exemplary, and the traditional French cuisine oscillates between gastronomic and bistro fare. On the menu: sliced duckling with curry, daube de boeuf à l'avignonnaise, Bresse poultry with foie gras sauce, Saint-Jacques with mango, ravioles de brousse or pieds paquets à la provençale. Wide choice of wines. Reservations highly recommended.

Sans doute le meilleur gastro de la ville mais c'est aussi le resto le plus sympa. Incontournable. Il vaut mieux réserver....même hors saison.

C'est un excellent restaurant.
J'habite à Avignon et nous y allons régulièrement, été comme hiver, jamais déçu.
Les patrons aiment leur travail et on y va pour apprécier la bonne cuisine à des prix raisonnables.
