A village clinging to a rocky promontory above the Durance plain, classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and distinguished by the warm color of its stones, its Renaissance château, classified as a Historic Monument, is built on the foundations of a medieval fortress. Until recently, the castle belonged to the Sabran-Pontevès family. The village's narrow streets are full of charm, with many fine houses dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries; push on to the parish church of Saint-Martin (listed as a Monument Historique in 1925). It was in this church that the wedding scene from Manon des Sources was filmed!
